Synaxis is an advisory practice run by Paul Welty. Its work is helping organisations use AI in ways that survive contact with how people actually work.
Scholexis is not a side project of that practice. It is the practice’s own product, built and operated with the same methods Synaxis recommends, which is the only honest way to recommend them.
Why a product at all
An advisory firm that has never shipped anything is a firm with opinions. Building and running a real product, with real students, real privacy obligations, and real consequences when something breaks, is what keeps the advice attached to the ground.
So Scholexis is both the thing we sell and the evidence that the method works.
What that means for you as a Scholexis user
One person is accountable, and you can reach him. There is no support tier and no queue. Mail goes to a human who can change the code.
The incentives are legible. Synaxis is not venture funded and is not trying to grow users to sell them onward. There is no advertising business here, no data brokerage, and no third party whose interests sit between you and the tool. That is a structural fact, not a values statement.
Small has a cost, and it is honest to name it. A one-person firm ships more slowly than a funded team and has a smaller surface area for support. What you get in exchange is a product where nobody has to lobby a committee to fix something that is wrong.
