How to invite a supporter
The exact steps to give a parent, coach, tutor, or adviser access to your plan — and how to take it back.
This is written for the student, because the account is yours and nobody else can do this for you. It takes about a minute. If someone sent you this link, they are waiting on this step.
If you received a supporter alert instead, read what the email means and what stays private.
Before you start
The person you are inviting needs their own Scholexis account. You add them by the email address on that account, so if they do not have one yet, ask them to sign up first. It is free.
The steps
- Sign in and open Manage access in the sidebar, under Account.
- Under Share access, type the email address on their Scholexis account.
- Choose View only or Edit. Scholexis records that permission with the grant. The current supporter account shows the grant, its planning-items scope, and its status; it does not yet open your assignments, tasks, or courses to them, and there is no supporter-facing edit flow today.
- Optionally set an Expires date. If the work has an end — a semester, a coaching engagement — set it now and access ends on its own.
- Press Share.
They will appear under Shared with others. Ask them to sign in, open Manage access, and press Accept. After they accept, you may set one supporter alert condition for them. You can revoke the grant at any time. You never have to explain why.
What they can and cannot see
A grant records planning items only as its scope: assignments, tasks, and courses. That is the boundary stored for the shared-plan surface; the supporter-facing view is not built yet.
It never includes your accommodations, energy check-ins, focus and reflection history, grades, or profile details. Those are not options anyone can be granted. They sit outside sharing entirely, and no permission level reaches them.
Taking it back
Open Manage access, find them under Shared with others, and revoke. It takes effect immediately, and you do not owe anyone a reason.
